There for a company Christmas get together. Staff was amazing! Food was ok but over priced IMHO. Ambiance was wonderful We were treated to nice dinner by my company but over priced m. We both had the Delmonico steak -- not worth the $$$$. Wine was good (Bordeaux) n not too expensive.

Foo was delicious. Had our company Christmas party here and got to watch the parade while dining. It was perfect

We first heard about Jacksons in '22 when we bought a home in the area, but finally went on "Prime Time Tuesdays." Our experience was STELLAR in every way possible! Located facing a lovely city square, it has an old-school, 'old money' classic look/feel inside the restaurant. Excellent service/staff, bread to die for, great drinks, and the closer: a 16oz perfectly executed prime rib w/baked potato for $19.95 (Tuesdays after 5p) - an amazing value, especially post Biden-flation!! Well done, Jacksons! (tho my prime rib was medium rare ;)

Jackson's is a must stop in Pensacola. Serving upscale food in a building built in the 1860s off Plaza Ferdinand where Andrew Jackson accepted the transfer of Florida to the U.S. from Spain in 1821. The dining room is a high-ceilinged classic steakhouse with touches of the Gulf Coast. The menu has classic steakhouse fare with gulf coast seafood and touches of Cajun cuisine. The wait staff and service are impeccable, and Thomas is the best of the best with the ability to make your mouth water with adjective filled descriptions of any dish on the menu. For drinks, the wine list is definitely one of the best in the area and the cocktail menu is wonderful with a great Smoked Pecan Old Fashion and for starters, I would highly recommend the Burnt Ends Confit which are essentially melt in your mouth meat lollipops. And for your main course, the steaks are fantastic and every option is amazing with the Delmonico stealing the show. For the entrees, the Tournedos Americana deserves a special mention served with two tenderloins and red wine demi-glace over a bed of whipped potatoes. And for dessert, the bread pudding is fantastic as well as the Key Lime Phyllo Purse. Despite Jackson's focus on upscale dining, there are several weekly specials to mention. Prime Rib Tuesday's features a 16 oz. prime rib and a baked potato for $19.95. Additionally, Wine Down Wednesdays allow you to imbibe in Jackson's award-winning wine selection with half-priced bottles. Jackson's is one of our favorite restaurants in Pensacola and we try to make a visit almost every week!

Thomas, the server is phenomenal and will explain the menu perfectly. Between the Burnt Ends Confit, prime rib, or delmonico the food will be the best you have ever had! The Key Lime Phyllo Purse is an absolute must have for dessert!

Celiac/gluten free review Visited Jackson's tonight. The menu is well marked with GF options. 2 appetizers, 2 salad options, 4-5 entrees, maybe 3 side dishes, & 2 desserts. I got the piggyback chop (pork chop). Included a corn hash, Brussels, & a hatch chili sauce. SO good. So many flavors! The pork chop was perfectly seasoned and cooked. 10/10 recommend. Tried the whipped potatoes from another plate and they were also very good. Shared the chocolate mousse with toffee with the table. Good, rich, & easily shareable after large entrees!

We had a wonderful time celebrating at Jackson's, the service from Danielle was phenomenal! We made a reservation through Open Table and got an awesome spot by the window. The complementary bread is actually locally made by Emerald Coast Bread Company, their Rustic loaf! The crab cake appetizer was another highlight, as was the complimentary dessert because of our special occasion. I did enjoy the lump crab and fried green tomatoes, but I felt the sirloin was a bit underseasoned. It didn't wow me like how I felt after trying my boyfriend's lamb chops he got- he absolutely loved them. Overall a wonderful experience and will be back mainly for the genuineness of the service.

We came in for our anniversary on our anniversary. Menus were special printed with happy anniversary on them and we got a complementary dessert at the end. Scott (aka Scottie) was our waiter and we never waited for anything. He was a great server and had a good balance of talking and letting us enjoy our evening. He also had great recommendations. The food was phenomenal everything we had was delicious. The restaurant has a great vibe to it and is clean and well maintained. 100% would recommend. It is on the pricier side but we knew that coming in.

We returned to Jackson's today after our Wednesday dinner as we wanted to enjoy the lunch experience of days past. It's not the same as pre-Covid but still... it's Jacksons! And so enjoyable. For old times sake I started with a Martini. Bombay Sapphire, dry, up, regular olives. Miss Anne had the Piper Brut sparkling. I ordered the French Onion Soup which came out piping hot and so very tasty. However I had not gotten through half of it or half of my Martini before our entree's arrived! We simply failed to ask our great server today, Kathy, to hold putting the order in. Our bad. Miss Anne ordered a lunch special, grilled redfish with some kinda sauce she cannot recall. LOL. But the fish was cooked perfectly today. Moist, flaky and delicious. I had the Old Hickory tenderloin with fried green tomato, crab, and Thibodeaux andouille cream sauce with the three cheese macaroni. Holy smokes! I would be happy with just an order of, say, three of these tomato slices topped with the crab and sauce. I'm sayin this is the best FGT I've ever had. The tomato is an extra thick slice. The breading is heavenly. And the FGT is cooked to perfection. The tart green tomato, coated with the crisp breading, sweet crabmeat and lovely sauce is amazingly good. That could be a stand alone entree for me. Even in the best of restaurants I am nervous about ordering a steak for fear of it being over cooked. So when Kathy asked "What temperature would you like your steak?" I was excited! I said, you mean thermometer temp? If so, 120°. No, just rare ,med, etc. So I went with rare and crossed my fingers. It came out perfectly, Wow. So enjoyable. As much as I love bacon, I was nervous about the three cheese macaroni with bacon as bacon can be over-powering in a recipe. The kitchen here has it perfectly tamed in this dish. The flavor is there but it is just a hint in the background. The cheese and pasta shines. Very, very good. Kudos to the kitchen. We just love the dining experience here.
